Despite some very minor spelling confusion (the first part where MC talks about the map), this was a neat little experience that left me with questions and certainly wanting to see where it ultimately ends up going.
The quiz was a nice touch, though it *could* perhaps overstay it's welcome if it got overused in later parts, which I suspect it won't!
I would normally be a bit critical of the rush into sex (though I get right now it's more or less a demo), but to be honest, it felt better than I expected, probably due to both the tribal nature of the character, and the for-mentioned quiz leading into it.
Ikatoka's clearly the main girl, but will the MC (not sure what his default name is) have scenes with other girls, and if so, will it be harem-like, or more like one-off encounters? Wonder more just to see how their relationship plays out.
Odd question, but what exact time period does this take place in? MC's boots look pretty modern, but the fact that he them for a map (Hey, wait a minute... how'd he have boots during the tripping scene if he gave them away?) sounds much more like the Age of Discovery era, and there was no mention of any kind of modern equipment like Sattilite phones or GPS.
I guess since it got downvotes and comments, I'll give a quick take on those "TF" relics: Would not be a fan, personally, but I wouldn't care if they were optional and only took up a minority of the content. This game's tone is pretty set, and something like that would heavily take away from the vibe IMO. There's maybe one way a scene could work, and that would depend on how developed the relationship with Ikatoka gets. There was a work I saw where a human and his so-to-be-wife (a fox girl) were given a challenge to test if their love was true, and not just a fleeting fancy. They both took a concoction that caused them to experience a shared hallucination where they were the opposite species, so she was a human woman, and he was a fox man. And they had to find each other while seeing some extremely vivid imagery. If it was something like that, with something actually connected to the story and the characters, I would be much less negative about seeing something like that (though I still want the option to skip sex, if sex happened during an experience like that.)
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the next update!
So, I have a general outline of the main story, but the details are still being developed, so the map will undergo changes as new details are added. It will definitely be used for moving between locations.
The game is in the harem genre, and other girls will definitely have their own full storylines.
I agree, transformation scenes could be added as one-time events during the story progression, but not on a permanent basis.

while i do respect your vision, may i suggest an alternative? how about implementing an artifact of sorts that allows for more of a transformation type effect.
the MC will still be human but can become more furry as well which would also help him explore the more intimate and erotic side of the game.
its still your choice at the end of the day since you are the dev, i just figured that i should put down a suggestion is all.
